Abstract: Objective To investigate the impact of remote medical management models on glycemic control and pregnancy outcomesin gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Methods A total of 100 GDM patients admitted to our hospital between June2023 and February 2025 were enrolled, divided into two groups (control group: conventional management; experimental group:conventional management + remote medical management), with 50 cases in each group. Post-intervention comparisons wereconducted on glycemic control indicators (including fasting blood glucose, 2-hour postprandial blood glucose, and glycatedhemoglobin) and pregnancy outcome indicators (including preterm birth rate, cesarean section rate, and incidence of macrosomia).Results After intervention, the experimental group demonstrated significantly better glycemic control levels and pregnancyoutcomes compared to the control group, P <0.05. Conclusion Remote medical management models can effectivelyimprove glycemic control and optimize pregnancy outcomes for GDM patients.
