Abstract: With the continuous advancement of pain management models, single analgesic methods can no longer meet the currentdemands for postoperative analgesia in anorectal surgery. Multimodal analgesia strategies have garnered significant attentiondue to their ability to markedly improve pain control outcomes. As a novel long-acting local anesthetic, liposomal bupivacaineinjection demonstrates considerable potential in pain management following anorectal surgery. This review evaluates the advantagesand limitations of liposomal bupivacaine injection in postoperative analgesic strategies for anorectal procedures based onthe latest evidence and explores its rational application within multimodal analgesia management.
