The disinfection supply center participates in the pre-treatment of clinically reused contaminated instruments to improve and evaluate their preservation and cleaning effectiveness

Abstract: Objective To observe the application effect of the disinfection supply room participation method in the pre-treatmentof reusable contaminated instruments. Methods 50 patients in our hospital were observed using reusable instrumentsduring treatment from January 2022 to December 2023. They were divided into a supply room group and a pretreatment group.The supply room group used the disinfection supply room participation method, while the pretreatment group did not usethe disinfection supply room participation method. The application effects of the two groups were compared. Results (1)Equipment wear and tear in the supply room group and pre-treatment group: The incidence rate in the supply room group waslower than that in the pre-treatment group,( x2=9.393,p=0.020)。 (2) The qualified cleaning of equipment in the supply roomgroup and pre-treatment group: The combination rate of the supply room group is higher than that of the pre-treatment group,(x2=36.271,p=0.000)。Conclusion The use of disinfection supply room participation method in the pre-treatment of reusableinstruments is effective and can be promoted.
